Shipping from the UK to Ghana, explained

Every Golly Express account comes with its own locker address in London. That one address is the whole trick: any UK store that delivers within the UK can now deliver to you in Ghana.

How it works

  1. Shop the UK store you already like. ASOS, Amazon UK, a small Depop seller — anywhere that ships within the UK.
  2. Use your London locker address at their checkout. It is yours, tied to your account, and free to use.
  3. We take it from there. Your package checks in at the warehouse, you see photos of it in the app, and you choose how it travels to Ghana.
  4. It clears customs and arrives at your door. We clear it on arrival, then deliver anywhere in Ghana.

What it costs

The price you see before you commit is the full journey: shipping, duty and customs, and delivery in Ghana. Nothing is collected at the port or at your door. You pay in cedis, with Mobile Money or a card — no foreign card or dollar balance needed.

How long it takes

Air shipping takes days rather than weeks — from check-in at the warehouse, packages typically reach your door in 5–7 days. For big or heavy things, sea is the cheap route: it is priced by the space you take rather than by weight, and containers sail on a schedule.

Tracking

You can follow your package from the moment it checks in at your locker to the moment it reaches your door, including photos of your items taken at the warehouse before they leave.

Before you order

A few things cannot travel: flammable liquids, aerosols, batteries shipped on their own, weapons, perishables and restricted goods. If you are unsure about an item, ask us before you order it.
