Every shipment with Golly travels one of two ways, and you choose per shipment in the app. The right answer depends on what you are sending.

When air wins
Air is priced by weight, so light and valuable things travel cheaply and fast. A phone, a laptop, documents, a suitcase of clothes — the weight is small, the speed is worth it, and it is at your door in about a week.
When sea wins
Sea is priced by the space you take rather than by weight, which makes it the cheap route for big and heavy things. A packed barrel or a washing machine would be expensive by the kilo; by sea you pay for the space once, however heavy the load. Containers sail on a schedule, so plan for the crossing — about 4–6 weeks — plus time to fill.
What both routes share
Whichever you pick, the price you see before you commit is the full journey: shipping, duty and customs, and delivery anywhere in Ghana. Nothing is collected at the port or at your door. Both routes are tracked end to end in the app, with photos of your items taken at the warehouse before they leave, and both are paid in cedis with Mobile Money or a card.
A simple rule of thumb
If you would carry it in hand luggage, fly it. If you would need a trolley, sail it. And when one order has both kinds of items, split it — the app lets you choose the route per shipment.
