There are two ways to shop with Golly. The first is the locker route: use your own US address at any store’s checkout. The second — concierge shopping — is for when the store will not cooperate: it refuses your card, or the checkout demands a local phone number. You buy inside the Golly app, and we do the store checkout for you.
How it works
- Find the item in the app. The stores built into Golly are US retailers, browsable with prices shown in what it actually costs to get each item to Ghana.
- Pay in cedis. Mobile Money or card. You never need a foreign card or a dollar balance — the amount you approve is the amount that leaves your account.
- Our team buys it. We place the order with the store, and the package routes to our warehouse under your account.
- It travels like any Golly shipment. Check-in with photos, customs cleared on arrival, delivery to your door anywhere in Ghana.
What the price includes
Everything: the item, shipping, duty and customs, and delivery in Ghana. You see the figure before you commit, and nothing is collected at the port or at your door.
When to use which route
If the store takes your payment, the locker route gives you the most freedom — any store, any country where you have a locker (US, London, Canada). When payment is the wall, concierge is the door: cedis in, package out.
Tracking
Concierge orders track like everything else — from the store, through warehouse check-in, to delivery — inside the app.
